Parent Workshop - Self-Direction
What is Self-Direction? OPWDD Self-Direction is a service model for people with developmental disabilities that promotes personal choice and control over the delivery of Waiver and State plan services. It allows people with developmental disabilities to develop a plan that is customized to best meet their interests and needs.
Join us for a parent workshop at Hicksville location to discuss the employer authority, budget authority, hiring staff, circle of support, and Personal Resource Account etc. This workshop will be led by Agnes Cheung, OPWDD self-direction broker. Time will be reserved for Q&A.
